The budget is always the first and most important consideration among travelers. Depending on the amount you are willing to spend, you use it as a basis of the place, the activities, accommodation, and other considerations for your travel. Do this especially if the amount you are working with is limited.

2. When will I go?

There is nothing more annoying than having all the resources for a trip, but the schedule will not allow you to. 5. How will I get there?

Taking a plane or a cruise? Transportation sometimes take almost half of your budget for travel. Plan your transportation options. If there is a regional airport located near your destination, better go for it. You can save a chunk of air and land fare if you prefer this over international airports.

6. Where will I stay?

There are plenty of options when it comes to accommodation if your travel will not be in a peak season. In peak seasons however, tourist spots can be crowded. Assess where you will be comfortable in your stay, and always consider the people who will come with you if there will be any.

If it is your first time to travel, you have to prepare very well. Though we cannot disregard the possibilities of getting surprised when we arrive in a particular destination, having prior knowledge will spare you from being clueless when the unexpected arise.
