Located all the way up in Massachusetts, is one of the oldest city in the United States of America. Full of beautiful places to visit, great food and an overall great weather, Boston is a tourist city by default.

If you are all about visiting historical places, taking a look at great landscapes and of course, eating delicious foods nonstops, then you are really going to love Boston from day one.

However, this city has A LOT to offer, and in order to really live the experience and get to see everything Boston has in store for tourist, we have put together a little list about incredible things to do in the city.

#1: Visit the Freedom Trail.

Let’s start with one of the most famous cities of Boston, the Freedom Trail. Now, this isn’t a monument or a museum, but a trail that takes you some of the most popular places in the city.

The tour is about 2 miles long, and goes across downtown Boston, passing through some of the best tourists spots of the city, as a matter of fact, it’s goes through at least 14 tourists places.

If you want to see these tourists while being in a very famous path, then is the right place for you. Just make sure you bring your most comfortable shoes and your best energy!

    2. It’s free to walk through although some places do require you to pay to get in.
    3. You can get a citypass (Boston Card) you won’t have to pay those fees.

#2: Visit the Fenway Park.

If you are a big fan of sports, then you need to visit the iconic Fenway Park in Boston. And even if you aren’t a big fan of baseball, this place is still pretty impressive and a must seen attraction.

Watching a game in this huge stadium is probably one of the best experience you will live while in the city, just keep in mind the Fenway Park is very popular, and during baseball season, it gets super packed.

    You need to buy tickets to get in, but prices vary depending on the game and season.

#3: Visit the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway.

Boston is famous for two things: Their museums and parks, and the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway Park is one of the most beautiful places in the city, and one of the most visited ones.

This huge park is located near the Atlantic Avenue in Boston, and is a great place to walk around, enjoy the green areas, the multiple fountains and, if you are lucky enough, to see the temporary arts display that are usually shown in the park.

If you are looking forward to spend a more chill out day away from the city hustle, while still being in Boston, then this is honestly the right place for you.

#4: Visit the Children’s Museum.

You really don’t have to be a kid to enjoy this particular spot. If you want to visit some museums while you are in Boston but you are bored of the typical ones, then you HAVE to visit the Children’s Museum.

This place is peculiar from start to finish. Not only you are greet with a giant milk bottle right before you enter the museum, but everything inside is meant to catch your (and your kid’s, if you have one) attention.

There’s everything from interactive exhibitions, to play zones for kids, to other various activities that will keep you busy and entertained while you are there. It’s honestly a big, fun playground for everyone.

    It’s open every day from 10 AM to 5 PM, although on Fridays it’s open until 9PM.

#5: Go to eat at Cultivar Restaurant.

Not only this Restaurant is extremely popular for being “Instagram famous”, but because the food is actually extremely good, the service is amazing, and the whole place just has a nice vibe to it.

Cultivar Restaurant are specialized in seafood cuisine and their dishes are simply amazing. They are located in downtown Boston and it’s the perfect restaurant to stop by and eat after you are done sightseeing and walking around the city.

    You don’t need reservations to get in, although it is very popular, so keep that in mind.
    2. There are different kinds of dishes but they specialize in seafood cuisine, but there are some completely vegan options for those who don’t eat any kind of meat

Another important thing to keep in mind for international travelers!

As you can see, there are many things you can do in Boston (those are only five! There’s so much more left to see) but before you even get to the city, you need to check your ESTA status.

The ESTA is basically an electronic permission you get so you can enter the US, and you can get it if your country is part of the visa waiver program. If you are a citizen of one of those countries, then you just need an ESTA to get in.

If you not part of the visa waiver program, then you should get a VISA, which you will need to process through the US embassy in your own country.

Other than checking your ESTA status (Or visa, if you need one ), and having the time and money, you don’t need anything else to enter the US and visit the amazing city of Boston and get to know everything it has to offer you!
